There is no perfect golf swing. All you have to do is watch those who play the game for a living to see a variety of ways to deliver the club to the ball successfully. Having said that, there are elements of a golf swing that are consistent with better players. You don't build a house without a foundation, and a sound foundation is at the core of an efficient golf swing. For example, your connection to the club is your hands. Accordingly, how you grip the club has a significant effect on how well you control your shot. If your just beginning, build you swing with a sound foundation. If you have played for years and aren't satisfied with your success, consider a renovation project for your swing. You may not teach old dogs new tricks, but I've yet to see a dog playing golf.
